Yet more goggles
Those of you who read these pages closely will know in the beer lovers’ world there is a certain fascination with beer goggles.
Normally these refer to men being lonely at the end of an evening and mistaking a lady who is less than lovely for a supermodel.
Now before BoTW loses all its female readership (and our new female editor issues the Beer Matters team with their marching orders) we found a great little website film that caters for both genders.
The beer goggles for her come in pink and could help you transform that mountain of a man, usually the last left in the bar at the end of the evening, into something approximating Brad Pitt, unless your surname is Jolie.

Big Bother
Burton’s famous Marston’s brewery was the sole beer supplier for this year’s reality television show Big Brother.
Marston’s provided the popular Channel 4 show with more than 800 bottles of Resolution but due to a signed contractual agreement could not make a public announcement until the programme had finished.
The beer was often centre stage – with regular arguments about who had drank the most – so much so that one of the high points of the show was the ‘beer gate’ scandal.
Justin Way from the brewery explained: “Nicky enjoyed Marston’s Resolution so much that she hid a bottle under her pillow, fellow contestant Mikey later stole it and drank it and all mayhem broke out, it was one of the highlights of Big Brother 7.” At 4.7% .....
