Full steam ahead at Everard’s

What a difference a year can make!

In the past year Everards Brewery has seen major make overs of its main brands and the launch of a new campaign ‘Support Your Local’.

The pace of change looks set to sweep into next year with the firm’s Sunchaser Blonde beer being added as a permanent brand and the launch of three new beers.

This year saw Everards three core ales, Tiger Best Bitter, Beacon Bitter and Original, transformed into a family of brands, all recognisable as being brewed by the Leicestershire Brewery.

This gave the range a distinctive new look, which reflects the Everards heritage but also adds a contemporary edge for the future.

However Everards is also looking to the future with three new beers set to be launched in 2006.

Two event beers will be available- ‘All Black’, a cask conditioned stout (ABV 4.3%) will be launched for the Six Nations Rugby in late January. And for the World Cup, Svengal Tiger (ABV 4.5%) with its unusual pump clip will be a popular choice.

There will also be a new Spring beer, Buddings (ABV 4.5%), launched in March. The biggest news, however, is a fourth addition to the permanent range, Sunchaser Blonde (ABV 4.0%). This is a light refreshing ale which will attract people to cask ales, particularly younger drinkers and females, as well as appeal to regular cask ale drinkers.

Originally launched in 2003, Sunchaser Blonde perfectly fits the increasing demand for lighter ales - a category which is heavily supported by CAMRA. As part of th.....
