Established in 1869 the Caledonian Brewery in Edinburgh is one of only two surviving breweries in the city. The strong commitment to brewing traditions, skills and heritage means Caledonian only use premium quality 'Golden Promise' barley, grown locally in East Lothian, to produce their trademark beers Deuchars IPA, Caledonian 80/- and Golden Promise.
