Nose : Pineapple and gentle pear drops. Light toffee-malt in support.
Palate : Bitter, tangy hops lead over sweet, malty fruitiness. Traces of blackcurrant, orange and lime. Nutty malt behind. Spicy warmth.
Finish : Hops continue to dominate, with tangy resins lingering and drying. Bitter fruit still in evidence.
Comments : A full-flavoured red beer that is surprisingly bitter for its strength.
