Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 3.
Nose : Chocolate, malt and nuts.
Palate : Sweet and nutty, with chocolate and soft toffee notes throughout. A dry hoppiness brings balancing bitterness. Citrus/orange on the swallow.
Finish : A little chewy. Malty yet bitter. Darker grains and hop resins take over to dry the palate.
Comments : A tasty red-brown beer, just a little thick in the finish.
