Reviewed in: Beers of the World Issue 2

Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 2.
Nose : Malty and toffeeish. Gentle juicy fruit (blackcurrant?) gradually takes over.
Palate : Complex bitter fruits (lemon and orange) over malt and hop notes.
Finish : Drying, hoppy and a little nutty. Very bitter.
Comments : An unusual beer described on the label as a ‘rich ruby ale’ but appearing more amber in colour in the glass.
Score : 4.5
