Reviewed in: Beers of the World Issue 1

Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 1.
Nose : The malt is welcoming, as are the coffee and blackcurrant notes.
Palate : Bitter and blackcurrant-fruity, supported by biscuity dark malts. Traces of liquorice.
Finish : Bitter and grainy-chewy, with roasted malt flavour.
Comments : A nicely balanced beer sadly spoiled by light pervading the clear glass bottle.
Score : 7
