Nose : Subdued for the strength. Gentle, biscuity malt. Traces of treacle. Light grapefruit.
Palate : Cascade hops shine through, bringing pineapple and grapefruit. Good support from sweet, lightly toffeeish malt.
Finish : Drying and moreish. Cascade hops and toffeeish malt.
Comments : Remarkably easy-drinking strong ale. The restrained finish is the key to the drinkability.
