Nose : Plain chocolate digestive biscuits. Pleasant whiff of polished leather. Light nutmeg aromas and a trace of
floral fruitiness.
Palate : More chocolate biscuits, enhanced by gentle floral notes and a little sharp elderberry. Silky smooth (contains oats), bittersweet and just a touch warming.
Finish : Gum-tingling and bittersweet with a chocolaty
maltiness. Hops gradually build and some tart fruit
lingers.
Comments : A very successful strong ruby ale that is complex but well balanced.
