Nose : A little earthy and leafy, with gentle tart fruit.
Palate : Softly bitter with a mellow gooseberry taste. Green, sappy notes, plus a sweet spiciness.
Finish : Dry, gently bitter and hoppy with lingering mellow fruit.
Comments : A well conceived, easy-drinking ‘gooseberry and wheat ale’ that also contains the herb bog myrtle.
