Nose : Rich mix of raisin toffee, baker’s spices and tea.
Palate : First impressions are of malt loaf soaked in tea. Gentle toffee, spice and a light lemon sourness develop.
Finish : Smooth on the swallow. Bittersweet and lightly malty, with some lemon persisting initially.
Comments : Unusual and adventurous but just fails to set the palate alight.
