Nose : Earthy, malty and slightly savoury. Liquorice and treacle notes.
Palate : Rather sweet and malty. Earthy, savoury note. Some liquorice and a light tartness. Quite smooth. Not fishy.
Finish : Drying, malty and gently bitter. Mellow coffee lingers.
Comments : An unusual twist on the stout theme, but lacks a little carbonation.
