Abv: 4.5% Type: Best Bitter Bottle size: 500ml Country: England Brewery : Uncle Stuart's Brewery
Price: Reviewed in: Beers of the World Issue 7
Nose : Fruity and floral, with oranges and other citrus fruits.
Palate : Crisp and surprisingly dry. More fruity and floral notes over a nutty, malty foundation.
Finish : Very dry, malty and nutty, but a bit thin.
Comments : An amber-red bitter, one of a range of bottle-conditioned beers from a tiny Norfolk brewery. The taste and finish sadly fail to do justice to what is a rather appealing aroma.
