Nose : Heady aroma of marzipan, bananas and lemon. Slightly vinous, bready and spicy.
Palate : Amazingly complex. Sweet marzipan, bananas and tart raisins. Exotic spices and alcoholic warmth.
Finish : Surprisingly subtle. Sweetish marzipan and spice with tart fruit notes.
Comments : Flavour-packed and a revelation for anyone who thinks all beers taste much the same. Possibly just too complex for some palates, but perfect for sipping with a piece of fruit cake.
