Nose : Nutty malt, spicy hop resins and a pithy citrus note.
Palate : Nutty, toffeeish malt leads the way but there’s a fine floral, lightly citrus hop balance. Not at all thick or cloying.
Finish : Drying and nicely bitter and hoppy, with a continuing malt presence.
Comments : Refreshing, tasty lager in the darker Vienna style. One of the pioneering beers in the US craft brewing revolution, now a national brand.
