Nose : Peppery, malty and toffeeish. Spicy, with liquorice notes. Intoxicating, with background winey fruit.
Palate : Sweet, peppery, spicy and warming. Light toffee continues in the maltiness. Vinous fruit notes emerge (tropical and ripe bananas). Hop bitterness is modest but maintains balance.
Finish : Dry, sweet and malty. Still peppery and warming, but quite thick.
Comments : Outstanding ruby ale with an abundance of taste.
