Nose : Full malt at first. Juicy citrus notes developing. A touch peppery.
Palate : Sweet, tangy, plummy fruit notes lead, but an earthy bitter hop balance is always present. Drinks lighter than its strength would suggest.
Finish : Slowly building gentle fruit, nutty malt and a drying hoppiness (a touch of tannin).
Comments : A famous copper ale with a rather subtle finish for a beer of its strength.
