Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 2.
Nose : Smoky orangey hops promise a juicy citrus taste. A little chocolate in the malt.
Palate : Full-flavoured, hoppy yet nicely balanced. Bold, tangy hops bring citrus fruit and resins, as well as a tannin dryness. Faint chocolate maltiness. Just a touch warming.
Finish : Powerful, long-lasting, tangy hops. Lip smackingly dry and uncompromising.
Comments : A robust amber beer that will score more highly with hopheads.
