Nose : Biscuity, with coffee and plain chocolate. Hint of pruney fruit
Palate : Tangy fruitiness quickly hijacks this otherwise dark, biscuity, malty beer. Bitter chocolate notes. Lemon/lime tartness. Spicy warmth.
Finish : Dry, bitter and quite thick. Roasted malt in evidence.
Comments : A dark ruby stout with a tart fruitness that, rather than enhancing the beer, destabilises it a little.
