Nose : Intense, perfumed aroma of coconut and almonds.
Palate : Super-sweet and coconut-heavy, with a scented presence throughout. Plenty of flavour for the strength, though, with light orange-citrus bits poking through.
Finish : Sweet, perfumed and coconuty.
Comments : Brewed in Belgium under contract for a company that specialises in beers with exotic ingredients. This one,
hazy yellow in colour, contains not just coconut but also quinua, a South American cereal. But it’s far too sweet to appeal to most beer drinkers.
