Kronenbourg Blanc

Abv: 5%
Type: Wheat Beer
Bottle size: 500ml
Website: www.k1664.com
Country: France
Brewery : Brasseries Kronenbourg-Champigneulles
Price:
Reviewed in: Beers of the World Issue 5

Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 5.
Nose : Overloaded with a sharp orange fruitiness that also has a floral note.
Palate : Lots of juicy oranges (a bit like orange jellies) and floral notes but thankfully not tart or sweet.
Finish : Bitterness grows but oranges are still prominent.
Comments : The white bottle is a triumph of style over substance. It says absolutely nothing about the beer, which itself is a bit of an enigma. This tastes has none and tastes very artificial. Beer lovers will want something more authentic.
Score : 6.775
