Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 2.
Nose : Grainy malt and other cereals. Hints of sour lemon give way to a melon fruitiness.
Palate : Pleasant and bittersweet with a juicy melon fruitiness throughout. The grainy cereal backdrop is balanced nicely by bitter hops and a little alcoholic warmth.
Finish : Drying, chewy finish. Bitter and fruity.
Comments : Elegantly packaged, unusual, bottle-conditioned strong lager with good, fresh flavours.
