Nose : Oak, toffee, whisky and smoke all feature. Slightly tart and vinous.
Palate : Creamy, malty, toffee notes lead the way, with smoky, whisky-like, woody elements in contrast. Light citrus zest; slight tannin-like dryness. Surprisingly lightdrinking for its strength and complexity.
Finish : Tart citrus and bitter woody flavours dominate. Light, sweet, whisky-like warmth. Becomes dry.
Comments : Beautifully-presented, unusual beer, aged for 77 days. Not as chewy as might be feared.
