Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 4.
Nose : Lightly citrus/spicy hops backed by sticky malt. Not particularly encouraging.
Palate : Dry, bitter and hoppy, with lime hints and some malty sweetness. A little bit coarse and alcoholic, but good body for its strength.
Finish : Dry, bitter and herbal. Very hoppy, although just a bit thick.
Comments : It’s not a bad session lager but it just lacks a little refinement.
Score : 7.5
