Nose : Malty sweetness at first gives way to a creamy, oaty nuttiness.
Palate : More creamy, oily oat flavours offset a nutty, malty sweetness. Good firm hop balance.
Finish : Dry, biscuity and creamy. A good smack of hops provides bitterness.
Comments : A perfectly balanced, biscuity autumnal ale. Too bitter for drinking with puddings but otherwise an interesting beer to experiment with food-wise.
