Reviewed in: Beers of the World Issue 5

Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 5.
Nose : Pleasant lemony fragrance, with light creamy maltiness beneath.
Palate : An unusual taste, dominated by sappy hop bitterness. Fairly dry, with a light lemony edge, but quite thin for its strength.
Finish : Very dry, hoppy aftertaste – the best feature.
Comments : The distinctive bottle shape reveals that this blonde lager is a close relation to the famous Duvel, but sadly it’s nowhere near as good.
Score : 7
