Nose : Coffee and liquorice notes shine through in the malty aroma.
Palate : More coffee and liquorice, becoming sweeter on the swallow. Just a trace of tropical fruit.
Finish : Dry, with yet more liquorice, becoming more and more bitter and smoky.
Comments : A red bottle-conditioned ale that drinks just a little thin for its strength.
