Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 2.
Nose : Spicy, zesty hops bringing bitter orange and apricot flavours.
Palate : More powerful, tangy hops with more bitter orange and apricot. Not, however, exceptionally bitter, with plenty of syrupy malt in support.
Finish : Warming, dry and quite chewy. Hops still in charge, offering lots of bitter citrus notes.
Comments : Flavour-packed, but a little chewy, dark golden strong ale.
