Nose : Raisins are prominent, along with plenty of malt and a little spice.
Palate : A bittersweet, malt and hop mix with a distinct raisin accent.
Finish : Mostly bitter with lingering raisin.
Comments : It doesn’t work for me, I’m afraid. It’s reasonably well balanced but perhaps too contrived and, ultimately, rather unexciting. Also spoiled by ‘wet paper’ oxidation notes.
