Nose : Bitter chocolate, rich biscuity malt, just a hint of vanilla and a whiff of spicy hops.
Palate : A bittersweet, tasty beer featuring a great combination of bitter chocolate, coffee, biscuity malt and spicy hops. Not in the least bit heavy or cloying.
Finish : Smooth on the swallow, with roasted malt pleasantly building all the time. More biscuity grain offset by a clean, hoppy tang and just a hint of liquorice.
Comments : Clean, crisp and loaded with flavour. Full of character and taste yet surprisingly mellow at the same time. An
excellent addition to the Budvar range.
