Type: Champagne Yeast
Bottle size: 330ml
Country: France
Brewery : Brasserie De Saverne
Price:
Reviewed in: Beers of the World Issue 4

Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 4.
Nose : Tart fruit, grapey and citrus.
Palate : A winey, fruity acidity is well to the fore. Rather moussey texture. Full flavoured but generally on the sweet side with balance provided by tartness rather than hop.
Finish : Very subtle – almost non-existent. Just a drying, winey, bittersweet lightness.
Comments : An interesting, very pale lager fermented with a Champagne yeast. Spritzy and refreshing but may have more appeal for wine drinkers than beer fans.
Score : 7.75
