Tasted by Jeff Evans in issue 1.
Nose : Initially fruity (grapefruit and elderflower). Firm malt. Hops emerging.
Palate : Fairly dry and bitter. Grapefruit like hop character from the start. Good body for the strength. A hint of burnt malt develops.
Finish : Long, bitter and hoppy. More burnt malt character.
Comments : Robust and surprisingly challenging.
Score : 7.5
