Nose : Big wafts of citrus and tropical fruit (grapefruit and pineapple). A little toasted malt in the background.
Palate : Zingy, fruity (grapefruit) but notably bitter hops. Hints of peardrop and barley sugar sweets. Crisp for the strength.
Finish : Resoundingly hoppy finish. Malty sweetness is pushed aside as dryness develops.
Comments : Flavour-loaded, dark golden beer designed to be served chilled.
